@blueskidd96 Thumbs up if you know that blueskidd96 got this joke form GMD. =P
-
Thumbs up if you think the transparent knob should light up when the pedal is engaged.

would this go great with an ocd?

This pedal makes any kit sound better! If you use a Digital modeler you will be amazed at the warmth & fatness this adds to your sound! I use it with my Tonelab and Trademark 60 for recording. I use it live with my Mesa Boogie and it's never off! Best pedal I've bought in years. Can't recommend it enough!

Will this pedal boost my volume considerably for solos if I use it in the fx loop of my JCM800 2210 head? Thanks

I leave this pedal on at all times with it's level set to 0. It still improves the signal and adds a light smoothness that is only truly noticeable when you turn the pedal off and on while sustaining a note. I love it and use it at the front of my chain. Once you have one you will not want to get rid of it :P

@linux666apocalypse lol, it's a Jimi Hendrix song that Mayer happened to cover: Wait Until Tomorrow...speakig of which, I'm still waiting to hear the name of the song at 2:40
Hi PGS,
I'm considering buying this pedal, but i'm not sure whether it's a clean boost or not. Does the pedal itself stay clean all the way or does it add OD at higher output levels ?
thanks !

@fend14 - It is a clean boost, which means that it has no overdrive of its own. Just clean gain. It will, however, push your tube amp into overdrive, which is its intended purpose. Hope that clears things up for you. Thanks!

please explain the internal dip switches, what are they, are they like 3 pots for bass mid and treble?
EMGlespaulMESA 11 months ago
@EMGlespaulMESA There are 2 switches for Bass and Treble boost. The Xotic website shows it very nicely!

Is the Xotic EP Booster considered a buffer used at the very front of your pedal chain, or should I be looking for a buffer as well?
tjnugent62 1 year ago
@tjnugent62 When left on, yes, it acts like a buffer. Since it is true bypass, it won't act as a buffer when off. Thanks,
