BMW F800GS engine problem

This is what my brand new 2010 F800GS sounds like after just 200km. Piston slapping?

Good idea. But I took it back to the dealer the other day and had a mechanic listen to it. He said it was a valve that was not adjusted properly. Nothing to worry about, and they will fix it at the first service at 1000km.

@chupi2010 hola, yo traigo el mismo ruido y la misma moto, ¿te hicieron el cambio dentro de la garantía (sin costo) o en el servicio de mantenimiento? al parecer todas las 2010 vienen con las valvulas mal, la mía tiene 16500km pero encendímos una nueva y lo mismo. Saludos y que bien que te lo arreglaron.

Mi moto hacía el mismo ruido. Habia un desvio en la guia de valvulas. En el concecionario me cambiaron la tapa de valvulas completa
