I got Mimi and Lia from a rescue in Boca. There's plenty of them in Florida. We paid $200 for both of them. A lot of people don't want them after a year or so because they difficult to house train especially if you live north. But in Florida, there's no worries since they are often outside running. I'm in France now and there's no rescue at all, unfortunatelly. I would like to replace them.
Rescued IGs are 250 dollars. Many are purebred. They need attention all the time or they get depressed so they wind up in pet rescues or back to their breeder. Next Day Pets has a lot of adoptions listed for Italian Greyhounds
One of these looks exactly like our Bruno! His mother and father were racing dogs, and we rescued him.
