  • Amazing woman, just stunning. Gr8 vid, and Joannie will always just soar and fly through her performances. Just a quick question tho, is that Katy Perry @ 1:11?

  • @Cresha54321 No that is Tessa Virtue!

  • @MyLaser12 She is québécoise. We don't identify as french canadian in Québec. You'll never hear someone from Québec say " Je suis canadien-français " We say " I am québécois/e

  • standing ovation joannie

  • I cannot , NOT CRY , when I see her skate. I lost my mom , so I know...

  • Watching this video sent shivers down my spine, so incredibly moving her story. Almost made me cry. Canada and your mother are proud of you Joannie. (And I'm too)

  • even though i'm not from canada i fought for you!!!

  • There may have been a pity factor that allowed her to place 3rd, but I think she really did perform extremely well and completely deserved at least that bronze medal. Outside that, this was such a moving story and shows how well-trained she is as a person and athlete.

  • they were roomates
