IT IS A SERIOUS BILL DESIGHNED TO TAKE AWAY THE PYTHON AND ADD IT TO THE LACY ACT (PROHIBTED ANIMALS FROM IMPORTATION AND EXPORTATION AND STATE LINE TRADE). WITH RECENT EVENTS( THE CHILD KILLED BY THE BURMESSE PYTHON IN FLORIDA) IT IS VERY VERY VERY VERY LIKELY THAT THIS BILL WILL PASS. SHARE THIS VIDEO AND MAKE A VIDEO RESPONSE.....WE MUST ALL WORK TOGETHER, THIS HAS WORKED IN THE PAST! LETS PRAY WE CAN STOP THE STORM AGAIN!!!

I love the hater morons comments, it just shows how uneducated and completely clueless they are. 5000 pythons but over 500,000 feral pigs ... which do you think do more damage? Not that I'm against removing them from the everglades, they don't belong there. Concentrate on the problem in the world, impose steps to insure owners are responsible and let it go.

So would your dad have preferred 100s of thousands of pythons loose in the 'glades, destroying a unique ecosystem or our govt doing what it can to pick up the slack because you and your ilk were too damn lazy & too self-involved to get off your asses to be a part of the solution instead of part of the problem? @Inquisitor53 ... She can smell female python in heat several 100 yards away with the right wind. It's why we circle the hammocks, if they're there she will find them, along with lots of males. Then it's to hell with the machetes, break out the shotguns and save the blades for the survivors! At that point the top priority is elimination of the species, the skins we can always get off others. One way or another, we will make them extinct in Florida!

@Inquisitor53 To all Python owner if yuz want to gets rid of yo Pythons bring to my shak in zee everglade + I will disposz of dem for U. Rufus my 17 foot pet gator has grown anuder foot with his diet of Pet-Pythons. Of coursz we donts waste nuthin + we skinz em alive before feeding dem to Rufus.He just luvs eatin Pythons + dem owners to. On dark night Rufus wuz on patrol + he cauts a Python owner releasing a Python + I says getem Rufus + he ates both of dem + he had big smile + winked his eye.

@LottoWinner999 I imagine the reptile shops that depended so heavily on python sales have closed their doors, in Florida anyway. Good. Better they lose the money than Florida lose it's ecosystem to an invasive species. Within a week I'll be in the western 'glades with family, friends, & my daughter's tayra, decapitating & skinning more females (the tayra loves the eggs, could be why she's been honing in on them mostly, leaving most of the males alone). Spring is the best hunting time for her...

By the way my Gator Rufus just loves ground python burgers. Hey what happened to all the online Snake Stores that said by a Python before it to late. I'll bet they will have Black Market Pythons and what happened to the song The Repilte Express?
