Toshiba 42SL417U - Screen Problems

Here's another problem that has creeped into our new Toshiba TV set on multiple stations; weird edge picture noise.

This is the second Toshiba 42SL417U EdgeLit NetTV set we've had in the past few months (the first was returned within 30 days for other more serious problems) and this one just had a motherboard change a few weeks ago to cure an even more troublesome picture flicker problem.

This is a serious failure of Toshiba to privide a decent product free of troubles. The engineers should be taken out back and shot. They probably took all of the old-time engineers that use to make Toshiba products, negated their pensions, and gave their jobs to lower-paid kids just out of college who are now experimenting on the planet and FAILING BIG TIME.
