Here's a little Juno 6 sound demo. Effects added are Boss CE-2, EHX Small Stone and EHX Deluxe Memory Man. I also added some background chords on an old Eminent Solina N150 organ. Drum machine: Univox SR-95 (Minipops 7 equivalent). The typical JMJ chord progressions are intended. I thought this patch sounded somewhat like a typical 70's string synthesizer although the Juno's tend to lean a little to the brassy side. The effects help to mellow things out a bit IMO. Try it yourself if you like; The settings can be seen quite clearly in the video. Hope you enjoy it and sorry about the excessive noise levels... What you hear is the analog goodness of two cascading chorus lines. Bucket Brigade chips are not exactly Hi-Fi ;-)

  • Does anyone know the settings from the synth sound in the beginning, im trying to make that on my JU60

  • @KennaOkoye Check out the description. The settings should be clearly visible in the video. Good luck.

  • I think Jupiter 4 would be suitable for you.

  • @haikousei Absolutely ;-)

  • very røyksopp-ish

  • Thanks for you nice comment. Be sure to check out my other Juno-6 videos too. I have yet to get my hands on an Alpha Juno - the patch memory and lack of direct control of all parameters have so far put me off, even though it sounds great.

  • Enjoyed your CS-10 stuff earlier on.This one is nice too!.Owned 6 ,60, 106, Alpha Juno1 and 2 in the past, and I think 6 was the best for rich uplifting string sounds.I'm thinking of buying it back(no memories like 60 and no midi but who cares)but I'm kinda satisfied with my Alpha Juno1..Enjoyed your demo today, and thanks for your music.5stars from me.

  • Thank you. Yes, it is a wonderful synth. So simple and yet very sensitive to even the slightest adjustment.
