Book Review: About Face by Scott Barnes

I was sent this book by Erica Lynne, who's blog is linked below! I did not request the book but since I posted some photos of my makeup collection on her facebook fan page, she was kind enough to send this book to me as a thank you!

This book overall is really fantastic and I recommend it to anyone who wants to know the more technical aspects of makeup and want to add to their knowledge. Here is the amazon link for the book:

@elm914 yea idk y it chose that still but it did, youtube is so funny lol. I wish I could have gotten the video up earlier but I just got slammed with things for school and had to rewrite an entire paper :( I really do like the book, so much so that I can't bring myself to take the plastic off the cover b/c I don't want it to get fingerprinted. I'm weird like that lolz

Great review Kendyl, I was actually thinking about doing a review on the book I got from her too. I got the Bobbie Brown one. You did great on explaining the details and layout of the book. I feel a lot of book review are kind of vague but yours is awesome!

@PunchyPink87-I like it but honestly its more about the basics. Like what each brush is for the purpose of each type of makeup and so on. So basically a lot of the stuff you learn from youtube but it is great as a beginner book.
