why do you even have a double-bass setup if you dont use it?

TO LEARN - that is the idea here is to learn. And I will pe posting a video soon that shows I have learned the double bass pedal A LITTLE BIT. I can do a two stroke roll and nail a few fast passages. I have it to LEARN - the option is there to always use it if I want to. I AM NOT A DRUMMER - I have no coordination for double bass when I first got it.. I am getting there now. LEARNING, little by little.

I'm about to get an Ion kit but wanted to have 5 lanes (orange cymbal in GH)

How do you make one of your cymbals work as an orange?

I have a custom device for playing GH games on my Ion set that gives me all 5 lanes. It is called a GHWT J5 - check my video out that explains it.

@maiabh they do work, but only 4 lanes will show, you need a GHWT J5 drum brain for the ION kit, which enables the 5 lane chart

okay...if i buy the ion rb2 drum kit,w/o the symbals,will it work on gh:metallica?and if i later add symbals to the kit,will i have a 5note highway then?sum1 help me asap cause i wanna order these thing soon!!thanks guys:)
