You train then go to other schools and fight a series of fights with wood sticks and different swords. Then at the end of a series of fights you fight the dojo teacher, and if you win you unlock him as a playable character in arcade / versus mode. Also has a few ok mini-game training exercises that improve your characters abilities. You can load him for play in arcade / versus play. The original Bushido Blade (Ps1) involved 1 hit kills basically, so this is a sequal of sorts to that and really hits the mark. Characters have 1-2 forms (maybe some have 1-4) and you can get 1-4 stances for your character. Xbox has a similar game. I forgot the name but it is in my youtube favorites though. Some are fast and others are not, and you start out slow so you have to stick with it cause it gets good once you get past the single form attack which turns into a series of fights that are very repetitive. Being an old game you have to trial and error new forms and swords for what type of fight you want to fight, slow swings, fast powerful swings or more single stab sort of forms. Each form and character also has a different "finisher" which doesn't always hit an opponent as a Mortal Kombat Finisher would, so you can get beat if they side step you, so you really have to time the set up and execution of your power attack / finisher. You can see in the first fight at the start of the video that I tried to do a finisher first thing.

  • just bought this game from gamestop for 99 cents. Didnt realize it was a sequel to bushido blade in sorts. Bushido blade 2 was my favorite ps1 game ever.If anyone has a copy pls contact me :(

  • @gdennis1986 Can I... yes. but will I... No

  • @arhernan2008 can u send me a copy :)

  • i own 3 copies of this game. it is by far my favorite game on the PS2 and probably one of my top 10 of all time. i really dont know why but i just love it!

  • ive been looking for this game for a long ass time i kept getting it confused with other samurai games haha i remember my unk and i would be at it for a long ass time

  • @samurail337 After you complete the tournament, you verse your own teacher. If he beats you, the whole process of waiting starts again. But if you kill him, he dies and no longer stays in the game. You then become some high swordsman??? cant remember LOL XD

  • If you finish all of the dojos there is a tournament you get to play through with real swords, but it's nearly impossible. If I remember correctly, if you get a cut artery it stays until the tournament is over. I don't know what is after that though, because I could never beat it. And @1234locolive, some specials (most) are 1 hit kill if you can get the full attack in)

  • Hey dude, you can't kill an oponent with just 1 movement ,isn't it?

(like in the amazing game Bushido blade for psone, cause i know they are the same creators who developed this game..I have a ps2 but never knew about this game.)
