Act I Figaro/Rosina duet from Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia. Recorded 1962. Sorry but it's only the second half of the duet.

  • @TLPOMNIMEDIA kay i figured it out i think... coluratura is the "trills" and the other thing is staccati?

  • is coluratura where her voice, like, shudders through the notes (trills?) or where she does a bucnh of one offs in quick succesion? cause it kinda sounds like he's doing the "trilling" thing too but it's idk kinda not as dramatic as hers..

  • @raigekimaru LOL! (granted, the laughing made the goosebumps of Peters voice go away, but still)

  • @windstorm1000 ***** for that :p agreed

  • Wow Netrebko and Hvorostovky has nothing on Peters and Merrill!! Good looking, good actors and great singers!!

  • Wonderful singers and actors, and they even LOOK their parts!

  • The most wonderful Rosina anyone will ever hear in any generation!!

  • il miglior Barbiere che sia mai stato realizzato!!!
