Here I am riding the only non electric vehicle on the line,it was built with high quaility and precision by Mr. Richards. We use this car to perform track inspections and maintenance during power outages or when trees or ice pull the overhead down and it is not possible to turn the power on.

  • What places do you inspect where they have has small tracks?.

  • crazy man, just crazy....lol!

  • This is sweet! Did you lay out the track or is it abondon track?

  • Where did you get the track

    How bigs is your railway

  • @trainlover479 As much as I love steam locomotives, as did my great uncle, a 4-8-4 steam locomotivengineer,

Dieselocomotives are FAR morefficient and less polluting than steam. If you could boil water with natural gas, that would make a huge difference. Steam would then be less polluting, though still terribly inefficient and a steam locomotive maintenance-intensive and stressful on track.

  • @robertgift Dude what if i told you steam does less polution than desiel? because its true...

  • @trainlover479 Yes. They did build America and England and every other country.

Yes, far more fun than any other engine. Buterribly inefficient, polluting and require much maintenance

    and stress track. Stillove them.

  • dude steam locomotives are much more fun and interesting than any other type of locomotive, they BUILT america for th elove of god!

  • There is a set of tracks in the Olympia area that I last walked (about 15 miles worth) from Olympia down to Littlerock, which obviously hadn't been used in quite some times (totally rusted rail surfaces). Before they get the very worthwhile idea to pull up the track for a rails-to-trails transformation, I wish I'd been able to build one of these speeders and taken a trip down those old, unused tracks.
