Canario arrest triggers instant protest at NH jail

Legendary eminent domain foe Lauren Canario of Winchester, New Hampshire was arrested last night for driving without a license. She also refused to cooperate with police, using her trademark techniques of nonviolent noncooperation.

This is today's video of demonstrators sparring (and sometimes just conversing) with authorities outside the jail where she's detained.

I love capitalism (or at least I love free market capitalism). Thus I have to oppose the U.S. government for being anti-free-market. They are the most anti-free-market force in our country, limited and restricting the creation of life-saving pharmaceuticals, banning commerce in recreational drugs, heavily regulating gun sales and banning the planting and sale of of industrial hemp.

no driving license means no road safety training to pass the driving test, hense a safety issue to other perswons on the road and also footpath, also no license means no insurance so tbh she has only herself to blame its not a frerdom of movement issue its a public safety versus her attitude policy.

A motorized vehicle requires a DL & Insurance...Period! Law breakers get arrested. Maybe she just should have driven her hushpuppies like we would all have to do if no DL.

She did not damage anyone's health or property, so there should be no reason to arrest her...

unless the pirates want to make some money, of course!

next thing you know, they will be arresting people for performing surgery without being a surgeon, I mean come on, we should all have the right to perform surgery freely!!...seriously, I like max freedom but every society needs some degree of organized law, quite frankly people in the US are allowed to drive a bit too easy, how about we just let people take a written test and jump into the cockpit and fly over your house when they turn 16, or would you prefer they are competent pilots first?
