The transport of Ohio Horses to Mexico for slaughter

Our investigators followed a truck all the way from Sugarcreek,OH to the horse slaughter collecting station in Morton,TX. - 1470 miles away. The truck had loaded 43 horses onto two decks. It took 34 hours and 15 minutes to get there.

WE need to let Europe know what they are getting let Europe know that they are getting disease meat sick meat toxic meat. Horses are not live stock horses are not made to go through this horses are not strong like one thinks they are. They break easy I have seen them have nervous break downs at the plants. WE are inhumane we do not put enough pressure on our gov on our Humane Society to stop this now. Europe must not deal with us must not risk there people's lives eating toxic sick meat

I REALLY hope that the folks who are posting these comments about how cruelly they are treating these horses feel the same way toward ALL animals that are slaughtered for their meat. And not because Horses are pretty and based on this opinion they should not be killed.

I am so upset.!!!! I wish I was there I would treat them the same way they are treating those horses. We need to do something to stop this. Why make it ok to kill horses in the USA instead of stopping these people from transporting these animals. These people deserve to suffer like these animals. We need to get together and put a stop to this.

Release them all to the wild they will do so much better. This stuff makes me sick thinking how people could do that to a beautiful creature god gave to us but people just take advantage of things. I wonder what them horses ever did to them to deserve such a thing as that. All those people should face jail time for things like that even those kill buyers

We people should be ashamed of ourselves for doing this and letting others do this! the horse is part our history and help us become what we are today asking for nothing in return but food,water,and love I guess that is too much to ask of people today! America cant support all the horses it has now,thats true,but slaughter is by NO means a necessary evil!! making people geld there horses and having to have a permit to breed,that would be a necessary evil and would save thousand of Innocent lives
