Spaying a Leopard

I'll admit it is shocking to see a wild cat spayed like that. In an evolutionary sense she is now dead. Is she not subspecies pure?

@FilmerOfBobcats Our cats are not suitable for captive breeding programs, many are inbred/crossbred and we cannot trace their history. Captive bred cats are very rarely released into the wild anyway...

@FilmerOfBobcats None of our cats are pure breds like what is required for species survival plans. We rescue from backyards and breeders.

Big cat rescue (emphasis on rescue) doesn't capture animals from the wild, in fact its been illegal for anybody to capture big cats in the wild for many many years.

well it seems sort of hypocritical to say that there is no reason to breed leopards in captivity when people capture them from the wild to put them in captivity for recreation. so its seems like everyone is a hypocrite in this industry. I am against zoos and all type of institute that has animals caged and opresses them by depriving them of their nature just to entertain dumb human beings.

@godjesusmoses No the vet techs keep a good eye on our cats when they are under anesthesia and if they do flinch or show a small sign that they felt something we can increase the anesthesia etc.. :)

that stupid if leopard live in africa then shouldn't fix just leave them alone in the wild not like our pets or zoo ...i though human should too how feel about that ..i wonder you never have kids since ..hmm. my option shouldn't fix all world wild animals just their history from past ..geez.
