@5029 somewhere between 0:46-0:48, correct me if i saw wrong. You see where people get alot of misinformation, please don't say that police protocol and training requires officers to keep their firearms holstered unless immediate life threatened crap, An officer doing a quick frisk, doesn't his partner have his firearm drawn and isnt he in a covering position? isnt the firearm kept pointing in a safe position? The reason for that is because, it puts him in a position to quicker respond to

@5029 Not teargas and rubber bullets and physical force? If the officers felt that the crowd would have mobbed them, when were they to start preparing for defensive measures. Notice, the officer keeps his firearm pointed in a safe direction all the way up to 1:53 and other officers had there batons in hand. are u then saying to me, that the batons and firearm should have been kept at bay and they gone in with nothing in hand. Notice, the officers appeared to already have been pelted at

@5029 Im just wondering here, you know the crowd wasn't anti-police because you are an expert in crowd control? You know the crowd just booed because of his method, to me, the video shows differently. Again my stance has and always will be, this is from what i see on the video and not actually being there. You see you're looking at half the story, if the crowd had mobbed the officer, crowd control expert, what would have then been the next step by the police? What is normally done?

@siograeme21 The environment was not "anti-police" it was the method that upset the people. Certain methods are required when dealing with masses of people, if that were England the officer would have been mobbed by the crowd for his unfair treatment of the detainee. If you are wondering "YES" I am an expert in crowd control.
-
@siograeme21 Wrong, the Police have a protocol to follow and part of their training requires that a firearm not be drawn unless a life is in immediate danger. The said officer drew his firearm simply because he lost his cool and was and became clearly enraged.
-
@siograeme21 If you took the time to read the details of the video you would have seen that my only issue was with the officer endangering the lives of the general public by drawing his firearm and thus creating a dangerous situation. The rest of the details cannot be fully understood because none of us saw it from the beginning. The only fact that we have is that the officer drew his firearm and pointed it at the crowd which presented a very dangerous situation.
The firearm is only supposed to be drawn if the life of either the officer or others around him are in danger. The rasta was clearly not a threat to anyone but himself. The officer pointed a loaded firearm at the crowd thus he is a threat to public safety and should be immediately relieved of his duty and arrested for public endangerment.
