Just written, this song is much like many of my songs that don't necessarily make it to the CD, but the B side. Impromptu written:

Hello how are you
I hope you are well
It's been so long and
I have been meaning to call you
But somehow I could not dial

No excuses anymore I just couldn't see it
There's no way to say the words I have to say
A way to explain it
Sometimes it's just two people never willing to ever change
When the change is the only thing that can save them
So 'hello'

No more excuses for us any longer now
We had the good and then the bad and somehow
We weighed 'em out and our actions spoke louder than any vows could
So we knew it wasn't gonna be...

I should've listened to the signs...no promises anymore
So...'hello'...

Hello how are you
I hope you're well
I'm just saying 'hello'

If you like this, please share with a friend and subscribe...the new JBS CD is coming soon!
Peace,
Scotty D. O.

  • Nice vibe! You say you wrote this spontaneously? Cool! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks Jack! Yeah, and perhaps I shouldn't be presenting these impromptu songs, but with youtube, it's so satisfying to just make something on the spot and post! But if you and others like, please come back soon - my new CD is coming out towards the end of this year and it is going to be a completely-produced project. I happened to have some fantastically-talented co-musicians helping to make what I hope will be the break-out CD for my career!

  • Interestingly, this space is a unique one. This room faces north east, so I get the morning sun only, while when I filmed this it was late afternoon (hence, darker vibe). But it has a good feel for a music room!
