My first video. I wanted it to be special. It's a tribute video to, Layne Thomas Staley.

Song: Alice in Chains - Down in a Hole.

Rest in Peace Layne.

Enjoy.

I am glad to see so many people showing their love and respect for Layne. I can't think of one comment that was out of line for this tribute. This just shows how much of an influence Layne was to so many. So I would like to thank all of you for keeping it clean.

I would like to point out that I DO NOT OWN any of the pictures or music in this tribute. Infringement is not intended! Just trying to show my love for a great man who was ahead of his time.

  • no one misses kurt fuck nirvana ...how can u put layne and kurt in same sentence

  • @greg29ny Layne and Kurt were actually friends. Not sure if you knew that. But I figured if you did, you wouldn't say "Fuck Kurt" on a Layne tribute.

  • @greg29ny Correction, you didn't say "Fuck Kurt" You said "Fuck Nirvana" .. But I'm sure you get what I mean.

  • Layne STayley bumps into Jeremy Clarkson and they start to chat.

He says to him, "What do you do?"

    Jeremy replies, "Top Gear".

He says "Fucking brilliant I'll have two grams"

  • Great song! By a great Singer

  • this is a great tribute, you can hear the in his voice

  • If you pause at 1:09, when was that photo taken? I recall it must be around beginning of 96?

  • layne staley,eterno.

  • layne thomas staley the best voice of seattle sound.

  • @extreme67 Thank you very much!

  • @Ohtheguilt90 It was all documented in his final interview before he died. Adriana Rubio put it in her book detailing Layne's life

  • @extreme67 Really? How do you know that? It's really sad..

  • Layne's life fits the very definition of irony. He wanted to be a celebrity just so he can see his father, who left him when he was just a boy, and when he finally reunited with him, his father pretty much ruined his life. They did all those drugs together and when his father kicked the habit, Layne was left struggling the rest of his life trying to get clean. It's sad really...
