Well you remember that Shanes coming out story was when she was like 10. Her father left before then..I'm not saying she HAD feelings for this guy but i think that MAYBE deep down she could've.

I...think that Shane may have been struggling with some feelings towards this man. Yes, i understand she is a hardcore lesbian, but sometimes all of us girls need a boy to make us feel all giddy. Mark i think did that to Shane. She trusted him and i dont think its easy for Shane to trust men because of her father. That's also why i think she turned gay. And when he did this..it hurt her deeply. I think deep down inside...shane had feelings for mark.

@sesskag17: I think that's a little far fetched. Shane herself admits that she had been gay her entire life......meaning that for her it was literally inborn, not acquired. While Shane was devastated by Mark's betrayal, I think it had more to do with the fact she trusted him as a responsible and truthful person in her home. Sure they became friends, but I would contest the assertion that Shane had feelings for Mark. I don't think Shane is capable of having those kind of feelings for any man.
