Also when players who compete tend to better technically, people who don't compete have very few opponents to play and therefore cannot develops nearly as much skills. No offense funktastic but the best smash player in the world most likely goes to tournaments.
Oh and also...I swear just watching Luigi Ka Master should be enough to move him luigi up the teir a bit lol

see competing and technical ability is quite a bit differen't. The whole competing part takes a lot of differen't aspects you have to think about. Being technical is based on how much you practice. Competing depends on how much you play others. So yeah, you don't need to get out to be extremely technical. You do need to get out to be good at the actual competition.

Yeah but you see, when dealing with such extreme cases as, "Most Technical player in the WORLD" the chances of such a person devoting so much time to technical skill and never having a desire to be known to the smash community are EXTREMELY abysmal.
