Steve Earle, Bucky Baxter, Mike Somethingoranother, Harry Stinson, Ken Moore and Reno Kling. This broadcast was a defining moment in my rock and roll edumacation. I've sincerely lost track of how many times I've seen it...

  • bass player is Reno Kling, lead guitar is Mike McAdam....

  • Thanks Suz! I think they have Reno as "Ron" on the DVD box. I'll update. McAdam's fine as is, trust me. :-)

  • ...I love this guy's song's...all his song's remind me of my dad...n I love my dad!

  • @TamayraS I read about that concert...likely the same one anyway.Where Rosanne was the headliner act and he was supposed to be the warmup act, but he was late, forcing Rosanne to go on first. (he had gotten in trouble at the airport because he brought the carry-on bag along that he meant to leave in the car, which had a gun in it.) And he was detained long enough that Rosanne was pretty pissed off. But they are still friends, so all ended well i guess. How thrilling heh? to see him in the 80s.

  • They musta gone together to buy a 3-pack of Fruit-of-the-Loom T-shirts...

  • mike mcadam, from the Good Humor Band, Richmond Va... I think he's in Mcadam and Holt band now. They're out of Nashville. Drake Leonard is on the bass with the McAdam and Holt band. Richmondish bar band sortof...

  • I first heard him when i lived in dallas over 20 years ago, went to Billy bobs to see Roseanne Cash, he was playing back up, and probably went to every concert he had here in houston after that. He is a fantastic singer! I still love his music to this day.

  • Have this concert on DVD Awsome stuff it's longer than the Austin City Limits

broadcast. When they break at the end and comeback for encore it appears Steve Earle "powders his nose" very glassy eyed but still great perfoemance

  • Bucky rockin' the 'fro !

  • ya like his music, like to hear if got any new stuff out
