Neurologically, you can get some various activity with this movement but there is no such thing as working the outter or inner chest. Isolation is a myth but that's what bodybuilders live by. Also if you arch your back too much you go into hyperextension thus loading the discs of the L4-L5, which can over time become irritated unless you have a pre-existing injury then it will give you a lot of problems.
@JD12111211 also, my gym has fully adjustable crossovers, so incline, shoulder height, and finally decline. so about 6 sets to start off 10-12 reps. 9 sets to finish with 8-10 reps. three at each .
