  • Nice, but I think that this song is really intended to be played at a nylon-stringed guitar. That would give it that softness which is so needed in his songs. - But you have a nice voice and you play it very well - I think you would have done it well on nylon, giving you it softness and calmn a bit more.

  • @Justusson just because jose plays this on nylon does not mean that it is 'intended' to be played on a nylon. i think it could be played on any stringed instrument. i also think jose borders on being too calm sometimes - i wanted to give it a little more kick.

  • @berondi I agree, it doesn't mean that it should be played like this because it once were. But the softness to the music, which you gain in a nylon-stringed is something that is missed out here. I also agree that he bordes to be too calm sometimes, but I still think that steel is too hard and give too high frequences when played at that rate of speed that you do. I would try nylon. I think it could sound better and I think it would suit you better with the calmness. No critique, just tips,..

  • @Justusson Yeah, points taken. I didn't actually own a nylon string at the time I recorded this but I have one now. Might give it another go on the nylon. Cheers.
