Lene Lovich & Holly Beth Vincent on Videowave -- March 1983

Lene Lovich (Lucky Number) and Holly Beth Vincent of Holly and the Italians were two two ex-pats (sort of) living in the UK. they knew each other across the pond; except Holly got deported back here. Merle Ginsberg interviews them both on the set of Videowave. VJs Michelle Piza and Victoria Vesna introduce the segment. Victoria later was interviewed with her band "The Crazy Hearts." Later she became an interviewer and producer on my program. Videowave is a TV and Internet program featuring music ignored by the mass media. This was done in Young Filmmakers Studio with the great help of Martin Toub, Brett Landow, Ed Tooks, Lance Tooks, Robert Barry Francos and others.The Producer is Alan Abramowitz. Having grown up in N.Y.'s Catskill Mountains, I know firsthand that Videowave was refreshingly and innocently authentic in presenting exceptional artists who deserved wider attention.
