@Trauncher: Hitler wasn't a Marxist. In fact, he hated the socialists, and blamed them for the fire in the Reichstag (which then allowed him to take power). Hitler's National Socialism wasn't the same as Marxism.

FEAR was the main engine that brought many old people to protest against the " government taking away they beloved Medicare".
It is obvious that some right wing organizations including Tea Party and some radical Church misled those people by telling them that Medicare is NOT government-run... as a result they created a panic.

BTW: The famous Boston Tea Party was a protest of a head of state (King George) in bed with a large corporation (The British East India Company).
