MissionCast - Alternative Christmas Gifts - Heifer Animals

Last Christmas Rich gave Carol an alternative Christmas gift. It was a pig purchased through Heifer International. That pig has given Carol (and Rich) joy the whole year. The pig has made it possible for an impoverished family somewhere in the world to improve their life by providing them with extra income to do things like send their children to school, improve their home and provide them with a better diet. AND this impoverished family was able to become a significant "giver" when it passed on the gift by giving the first offspring from their pig to another impoverished family. "Passing on the gift" is an important part of the Heifer International program. Can you guess what Rich is going to give Carol for Christmas this year? Perhaps not another pig but maybe a flock of chicken...sheep...goats...bees...or maybe even a water buffalo or camel.
