Galactic Civilizations II - Main Theme

So, I figured I'd make myself useful and start uploading stuff again. I chose to start uploading the soundtrack to Galactic Civilizations II, as nobody else had, and for good reason: IT'S HUGE.

Because I'm horrible at explaining stuff, I'll let Wikipedia do the talking:

"Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords (commonly GalCiv II or GalCiv2) is a 4X turn-based strategy computer game by Stardock. It is the sequel to the original Galactic Civilizations (in turn based on the OS/2 games Galactic Civilizations and Galactic Civilizations 2), and was released at North American retail and on Stardock's online subscription service, TotalGaming.net, on February 21, 2006. An expansion, Dark Avatar, was released in February 2007. A second expansion, Twilight of the Arnor, was released in April 2008.

GalCiv II is set in the 23rd Century, when multiple alien races, including Humans, scramble to conquer the galaxy, planet by planet, by force, diplomacy, culture, or technology. GalCiv II focuses on the single-player experience that consists of a Campaign mode and a "Sandbox" mode, and omits multiplayer. The game is notable for its artificial intelligence, which is challenging without being given resources and abilities not available to the player, as is common in the majority of strategy games. The game was a modest commercial success, and it was received favorably by critics, winning multiple Editor's Choice awards. Stardock also opted for a rather unusual distribution strategy that lacks copy prevention, and allowed for extensive modding by the community."

Basically, it's Sid Meier's Civilization. IN SPACE.

And it's just as addicting.

this game makes me think its a cross between the old old old-school game supremacy which was awesome in its day and mix that with lots of civ elements and the ability to customise your ships makes this game very very very playable and addictive. the tech tree is a bit messy at times and i would of liked the ability to que tech research so you dont have to scroll back to the tech you want and click it each time you research something new other than this its pretty cool.

@VillainousOperative as a sid meier fan this one is a must own it ticks all the right boxes. apart from when i attack a planet with troops the attack button is hidden behind the screen you look at? but to the right is a slither of button u can press so all is not lost but a bit rubbish. the first thing i said is i love this music. best game music very atmospheric and thought provoking.

Can you upload some of the gameplay music as well; not just the faction music.
