WASHINGTON President Bush today signed the Lugar-Obama proliferation and threat reduction initiative into law.

Authored by U.S. Sens. Dick Lugar (R-IN) and Barack Obama (D-IL), the Lugar-Obama initiative expands U.S. cooperation to destroy conventional weapons. It also expands the State Department's ability to detect and interdict weapons and materials of mass destruction.

Tique: How does this bill help his Illinois constituents? Things are pretty bad in Chicago. And, I'm not sure what destroying conventional weapons has to do with loose nukes. I really don't think it's a good idea for us to start destroying our weapons while we're at war on two different fronts. But, I gotta give the guy credit, two years campaigning and he worked on getting one bill passed.

Too bad we can't all finish only one task every two years and still get a full salary.

I'm sure it is good to other Senators, so you're not entirely wrong, but here's where you are wrong. And it's a pretty simple concept and I hope it doesn't clear your head. (Although you are an Obama supporter so it probably will).

He is running for the President of the United States of America, he should have a lot of accomplishments.

For black people, he does: graduating first grade. Second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eigth, being alive by thirteen.
