  • You're right. It forces development with the other bishop, as you see. Forgive my reference to "gaining a piece" when I have only gained a pawn in the early going. Nevertheless, black's failure to capitalize on his advantage costs him the match.

  • Why didn't black move his light square bishop to f5 at 3rd move? It is supposed to be there, right?

  • Hello again HardDazedKnight. Glad to see you again! When you exchanged white coloured bishops with him and when he placed his rook on g8 you had a very nice check on g6 with your knight. Then king moves to h7 and you go Ne7+ and get a rook if you want it. Anyway good job on your movies. I really enjoy listening to them. Kepp up the great work.

  • 3... e6 is a bad move for black because it blocks his light-squared bishop
