Why didn't black move his light square bishop to f5 at 3rd move? It is supposed to be there, right?

Hello again HardDazedKnight. Glad to see you again! When you exchanged white coloured bishops with him and when he placed his rook on g8 you had a very nice check on g6 with your knight. Then king moves to h7 and you go Ne7+ and get a rook if you want it. Anyway good job on your movies. I really enjoy listening to them. Kepp up the great work.

3... e6 is a bad move for black because it blocks his light-squared bishop

You're right. It forces development with the other bishop, as you see. Forgive my reference to "gaining a piece" when I have only gained a pawn in the early going. Nevertheless, black's failure to capitalize on his advantage costs him the match.
