Wolverine III looks like it has a welded steel tube frame with some other metal as armor.

  • Was mortician's opponent made of carbon fiber? It held up very well considering the hits.

  • yeah you might be able to squeeze that into a SHW but thats about it

  • oh ok...nice to know. I did find a d&d ES-33 motor but it's way too big for combat use. I think it was around 55 pounds...

  • perms are garbage the very first design of last rites had the perm in it and they pack a lot of power but they just cant hold up to combat at all, we were killin it even more so than we do with the etek.

  • Have you seen anything on the PERM motor? I know their costly but make 15hp peak at 48volts or 34hp peak at 72 volts...

  • The D-pack is no longer in production. It has more HP than a mag, but at double the RPM. I'll still work at using the D-pack down the road, since I have some here in stock. But if I were planning on building a new machine from scratch though, I'd stick with the mag. They are available, and if you burn one at an event you can more easily borrow one. I doubt you will feel underpowered with one :)

  • I read alot about the mag motors but cant find any info on the d-pack motors. Are they more powerful than the mag's? The reason I ask I'm looking to build a bar spinner and just trying to figure out all my options...

  • In this event we used a 3" magmotor. Mortician was orignally built with a D-pack motor for the weapon, but the gearbox was gamaged so we used the magmotor at this event.

  • What kinda motor does Mortician use for his blade?
