Why was Jesus's Name translated?- Sh. Ahmad Deedat

Assalamu Alaikum,

A message to the Christians of the World:

There should be no reason why you would change the name of a person when you translate a text.

Why was Jesus's name translated from Hebrew to Greek to English?
I implore the christians to please ask their Priest about this.
You don't have to believe me or this story, but you owe it to yourself to understand your faith a little bit more.

If you find your faith contradictory, then you should search for the religion that has no error.
You shouldn't disregard religion altogether, for that is foolish.

Bible has been tempered in so many ways. This is one of them. The Church officials of the past changed what they thought should be editted and committed a huge mistake because of it

THe Quran challenges its readers," Do they not ponder over the Quran. Had it been from other than God, You would have found therin much discrepencies.

well you know, after 20+ years of study of the bible, I can tell you with a clear conscience that the bible rejects the koran.

If Christ had not died on the cross then mankind would have had to become proselytes under that Law because in the words of Jesus before the cross

John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews

As a Gentile you either accept Pauls message, or you become a Jew thru the law. No exceptions

Matthew 1:20 what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit (NIV)

Matthew 1:20 for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost (KJV)

That is absolutely correct. If Christ had not died on the cross the new covenant prophesied of in the OT would not have been fulfilled. Infact, Christ fulfilled 300+ prophecies of the OT

@AlYassou3Rabbi yeh but paul isnt he the disciple of jesus who never met jesus in his life nor sat next to him ever? he assumed the position by seeing the vision of jesus while riding on a donkey no? and if you follow paul alone, doesnt he himself say that if the crucifiction of christ didnt happen, then we are all bound for hell fire and all of our deeds are in vain??? and the holy ghost you speak of is a christian thing, its not found in the old testament, and quran rejects it

Who is this Holy Spirit/Ghost whom indwelled those who believed in God?
