ahahaaa. i thought this thread would be about the flaming manhole... instead it's two (none too bright) dudes yapping about the semantics of the word "gay". (no one's even dropped a bad "man-hole" or "flamer" joke?!)
it is shit though, when you hear little kids using the word in a derogatory manner. because they're hearing it from that generation in the early 2000s who warped the connotations, and it means it will just take a lot longer for the bullshit to wash away with the generational tides.

Look mate I'm not perfect and I'm sorry that my militant response upset you but your first comment which started all this was to tell me to shut up and not express my views whilst endorsing others to express negative views. Y'know what, fine. I may not know much about you, but you certainly know very little about me and to be honest, I'm really starting to think that 'little bitch' applies to you. I've received a lot worse than 'little bitch', and I've reacted in a much less aggressive way. Sorry you get so much hassle, which I really do think is wrong, but you seem like such a martyr. I'm sorry I've had to resort back to heckling, but that's what its come down to. I'm not replying anymore. What can I say? I tried.

Its astounding that you have to put SO much effort into conversing with someone who has a different and comprehensive view gained through 39 years of experience as a gay man. I'm trying to be civil. I'm honestly not trying to be nasty. And although I may not have experienced it to the same level you may have, I have been oppressed and bullied.
And I only left that last message to inform. Its been nagging me for weeks. I know it seems weird, but thats the kind of guy I am. I think I may have OCD.
