@wcharles19 some speculate that it does, the other ancient texts speak of a war between the floating cities using arrows of fire that destroyed at least three ancent cities in one blow.

@willowrhayne "If the radiance of a thousand suns
Were to burst at once into the sky
That would be like the splendor of the Mighty one --
I am become Death,
The shatterer of Worlds."
This was a quote from Krishna to Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita. Krishna is explaining to Arjuna what it would be like to see the almighty god (Krishna) in his true form. How eerily perfect this quote can describe nuclear weapons.

i don't know why i can't stop laughing when i'm watching this.

@DrBuzz0 Oppenheimer, and i apologize for i lack the ability to spell, declared after its first test that he had been reminded of a line, i have become death. i know thats not the whole quote, but it is interesting for me anyway

Thanks a lot. I enjoyed the first one and now the better remastered one. * I actually met Dr.Teller, who is shown in this, the charicter on whom Dr. Strangelove is based.
-
@DrBuzz0 It's worked so far. As long as there are nukes the threat of thermonuclear Armageddon remains.

I enjoyed all the goddamn explosions as you origionally intended me to do . I also got a boner.

A testament to mans stupidity but amazing never the less.

Not sure I would really call it "stupidity," because some of the greatest minds in the history of science were required to produce these things.
I'd say it's more like a testiment to man's inability to get along with his common man. These weapons were built and tested as the result of two basic ideologies, both of which saw being armed to the teeth as the best way of preventing the other from destroying them.
It worked - although it is a shame that it had to come to that.
