The video you guys have all been waiting for! It's working on the wiikey! Everyone enjoy and be as happy as I am now!

It is a 3.2u wii so don't be afraid to update. Just follow the easy steps and you're off.

1. Run the wiikey 1.9b install disc.
2. While installing, unplug wii at 70%.
3. Plug Wii back in and restart.
4. Play SSBB.
5. Run recovery disc 1.9b to enable WiiKey again.

Just remember guys, to play your mod games again just pop in the recovery disc while the wii is on, press the reset button, wait a minimum of 3 minutes then turn off the wii and turn it back on.
It won't look like anything happened, but the recovery disc will have written to the EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) and therefore having your wiikey working again.

Big whop the freaking Wii disk works on the wii console so amazing a have brawl...I dont have to do any bullcrap to get it to work... I will tell you how to make brawl work...

step 1. open the case

step 2. take out the disk

step 3. put the disk in

step 4. click on the brawl icon at the top left of the screen

Actually, they're wrong and so are you. It can take up to 20 times before the recovery disc works, it varies for everyone. Be patient

My wiikey freezes up randomly while playing burnt games. I bought a retail version of the new wii Tales of Symphonia game, but it wants to install an update that might brick my wii. How do I disable the chip altogether? Where can I find a working version of the 1.9b update that will suitably corrupt the chip's programming? If I manually remove the chip from the wii, will all traces of it's programming and presence be removed with it?
