  • does the lock on the handle on the single handed cup come loose when you use it?

i bought a single handed cup off a surplus site ( it was a copy europes military made) its made of aluminum, its nice but it seems a bit smaller the the US one, and the lock on the handle comes loose sometimes when im drinking from it

  • @LawlietStudios Not really. The weight of the cup with liquid in it applies pressure to that spot so it stays in place. You may want to bend in the tabs a bit with some pliers, that may help.

  • hey, i just recently got a butterfly handle cup on ebay, its got a gray-ish finish on it, and between the butterfly handles it says "US PAC FAB" but no date, is it legit? Oh, and the handles lock into place, and its got the correct shape, and lip etc, i just wanna know, thanks!

  • @survial97 It is legit, Pac Fab is one of the companys contracted to make the cups - sometimes they year stamp them and sometimes they don't - your good bro!

  • Sorry, it says CMI not CIS

  • Is CIS a real manufacturer of canteen cups? I just got a canteen cup with butterfly handles it's stamped US and CIS, but no year marking. Did a google search but couldn't find a list of cup manufacturers

  • Nice video. It really helps explain some of the often overlooked details of canteen cups. Personally, a longtime fan of the US "Butterfly" Handle model. Excellent presentation!

  • Woops! What i meant was Do u still SELL the fold out handle cup?

  • Do you still the fold out handle cup?

  • @TheFlintnSteel WWM is the manufacturer of the butterfly handled cup in the video.

  • OK, great video. Being retired military, it should come as no surprise that I have a sentimental preference for the genuine military canteen cup. I am glad U have enlightened your viewers on identifying the genuine article. I would like to add that I am really happy with your canteen cup stove stand. Keep up the good work!

  • what is the year on that single handle cup? i have seen one dated 1965 and seems to have a flat lip
