High Wide & Handsome - The Buskers

As part of High Wide & Handsome - The Charlie Poole Project, on July 21, 2008, Loudon Wainwright III, Chaim Tannenbaum, and David Mansfield put on an Informal concert in a downtown NYC community garden. This is one of the songs they played, "Milwaukee Blues." Michael Grenadier, who's making a documentary on the project was on hand with his crew to get it all down.

Heard LW and DC and crew at the Highline Ballroom several nights ago with LW's kids Rufus, Martha, and Lucy and the three Roche sisters. They did many of the songs on this 2-disc album. Great show! Had never heard about Charlie Poole before. Now I know!
