www.simonleachpottery.com NEW POTS IN MY ETSY SHOP !! ...Hello everyone ! Well this clip is in HD 720p lets see if it is any improvement on past ones ! Please do feel free to give me any feedback on it in this regard , it will be appreciated. This camera actually will film in 1080p, but as my memory card is small , until I buy a larger memory card I will stay in 720p for now.
Slowly getting the workshop together and today starting a small run of bottle vases... part 2 of this will be a more close up detail clip of the profile and hand postures involved.
KEEP PRACTICING !! SL

  • hey Simon I'm a beginner ceramics student (just started wheel throwing the 2nd week of September) and I've already made incredible progress with my throwing by watching your videos. This video in particular has helped me so much because of the 6-point of contact way of collaring. Every time i would do it i would be using 3 or 4 points of contact and it would cause my rim to fold in and collapse on itself, but since I've been using your way, it never fails.

so i just wanted to say thanks :)

  • @albpoolshark . Great news ! thanks for commenting on a good point there ! KP

  • perhaps an external mic. A wireless clip on?

  • @warpigx909..... thanks but no provision on this camera for that ! SL

  • Hi Simon, did your other video camera break? The sound is very low, but I'm sure that others have commented on it already. The video is very sharp, great resolution and good looking. Keep up the good work..

  • @TheSignGuy32 HI C, no it did not break, but I saw this one at half price so i got tempted & bought it. Seems some folk have a hard time with the volume, others it seems fine. A USB plug in extra set of speakers helps a lot in this respect at minimal extra cost ...I bought a small set in Walmart for 14$ not so long ago ( this is good for a laptop ) of course there are more powerful ones at 50$ plus as well. see ya ! • My sound is turned up as high as it will go and still hard to hear. Despite that, another great clip :)

  • Simon, the sound is absolutely fine, can't fault it at my end!

  • Video looks great! I have external speakers hooked up and with them running the audio is fine.

It looks like your studio is moving along quite well. You have done a lot in the last month!

I am looking forward to the December 11-12th workshop

  • Sounds perfect with ear-buds but low out of the desk speakers.
