    Yes they do work. Used them while in the Air Force. Put even force on all the wrenching surfaces. Unlike a regular flare nut wrench where you have minimum swing it ratchets with a little travel. One should really use a flare nut wrench on tubing nuts if possible.

  • But it is solid. Trust me. If you have to overtorque to stop a leak then the connection needs to be reflared or the fitting resurfaced or replaced.
