Hello All,
My name is Darryl De Ciccio and I have a big idea.
Throughout my life I have had many experiences from traveling around the world, to personal revelations. I have met some unique and amazing people in my life; all who have shaped and guided me to who and where I am today in this world. We need to acknowledge and be grateful for the people in our lives. This has inspired me to propose this idea to you:
Wouldn't it be great to admire a piece of art that brings people, from all over the world, together in unity? To know that you are connected to something amazing that represents the strength we all have within us. With the hopes that it will be around forever for us to visit and even take our children to visit, showcased in the great city of Toronto and incorporating faces from all the great cities in the world.
I want to collect as many pictures of people's faces (including yours) from everywhere around the world, and put them into one of the largest picture collages to form a human silhouette. The plan is to display it at a gallery or institution so everyone can see a piece of art depicting the beauty and awe of the human spirit. It would be a print about 15ft x 30ft in size.
I am constructing a website where you can upload your picture and share your perspectives and thoughts of how the human spirit has affected you. I have many other great ideas to include in the site that will hopefully become a portal where people can visit and perhaps even gain a new idea or discover themselves in a way they never thought they could. This isn't a born again religious thing or anything along those lines, I just believe that we as humans need to start living in harmony again with nature, and gain new perspectives on our existence for a greater life experience.
With time and planning, I would like to become connected to an organization where donations can be made through this project to a specific foundation.
We all have our pictures posted everywhere. On cameras everywhere, and especially on this place haha. So having your face on the largest collage probably wouldn't be so bad either. Your actual picture will be quite small so for those who are a bit weary about having you face shown publicly, you can relax because from a further distance, it will just look like one pixel in an image.
I am not looking for any notoriety or profits from any of this. I just want to leave a footprint on the planet through an art form, and raise some awareness of what we all have, that people have forgotten through our materialized way of life.
It is all up to you if you would like to participate in this project with me. You might think this is outrageous or even crazy of me for attempting, but I feel right about this, and I'm doing it for the human spirit.

-We will never fully engage genuine freedom until we liberate people from all vertical authorities, whether religion, God, science, the state (government), nature or whatever else people try to exalt above humanity. Only when we remove ultimate authority from on high and locate it in average people, only then do we properly honor humanity and set people free to explore their fullest potential. Consciousness makes each one of us a free individual in control of our own destiny. No one is to be subject to anyone else, or anything else.
