@tcdahn7 You are very right about the importance of live music today and I agree pretty much with all the points you've made. Technology has changed everything. agreed But it's also taken away alot also. However, when your a band or group the caliber of "the Beatles" Stones' 'Led Zep" ect...ect.. No record company would of dictated a thing to them. They'd of still done it their way and say "Listen if you want the music this is how we do it, .. how you distribute it is your dilema."

@xcrazygringo You're right. But, live music is more important now than it has been for nearly a century. MTV doesn't play as many videos. The internet has made recorded music a fruitless endeavor. And, music players the size of a credit card can hold every genre known to man. The Beatles could never just make albums in today's world. Hollywood Rose would be an "Indy" rock band. Of course, punk would have never been the necessary counter culture response to the more technical mainstream rock.
