A very wet day at Curborough. Sorry about some wobbly shots - was trying to hold an umbrella while filming! In order, cars and drivers featured are: Carl Gray (Hardy Special), Maurice Gleeson (Riley Big 4 Special), John Brydon (Leon Peugeot B Voiturette), Mark Purnell (Riley 9), David Asplin (Austin Ulster), David Leigh (GN Spider), Frank Hernandez (Austin Brooklands Streamliner, Anthony Garner (Lagonda Rapier), Garth Howat (MG J1/2 Single Seat), Julian Taylor (Alvis 200 mile race), Ian Baxter (MG Belle-Vue Special), Paul Richardson (ERA 14B), James Baxter (Frazer Nash Single Seater).
Wow, you guys in Europe have it all over us in the USA, I used to think we were nuts about racing but fact is you really have neat stuff over there. ...and it's been around so long, so many makes and classes. I'd sure as hell miss sprint cars on dirt though. I really enjoyed the video, thanks.

@ANBratlie The car was a Lion Pegot of about 1908/1909. Several were made with slightly different engines but because the racing rules of the time handicapped both bore and number of cylinders, they were all V-twins of ridiculously long stroke. Various figures were quoted ranging from 90 x 190, to 100 x 250 (which latter I think is fictitious).

I know this video is quite old, so I might not get an answer.. but what kind of engine has number 70 got? It sounded awesome.
