This video is explaining how to run an Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) on big datasets in XLSTAT.

The idea is to decompose the problem in 3 steps:

1) First do a k-means clustering to reduce the number of samples to classify by AHC
2) Run an Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) on the centroids of the clusters and determine the number of classes
3) Attribute the samples in the clusters to the classes defined by AHC

The data and explaination about this video can be found on our website: http://www.xlstat.com/en/support/tutorials/k-means_AHC.htm

How to run an Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) on big datasets in XLSTAT? Do first a k-means clustering and then a HCA.
