  • nice vid. That the Carenado model? Gosh I want it but Im 12 and dont have any money :(

  • Yes it is, and it flies like a dream! :)

Well, then you have something to save up for ;)

  • hey Captain.... when i take off in my piper and i am climbing out i can only seem to manage 500 to maybe 800 Vertical Speed if i try 1000 my airspeed drops to nearly 60KIAS and the plane seems like it will stall. i am not a real pilot just a virtual one so i am not sure what i am doing wrong... the plane is not loaded down and i usually dont use flaps to take off... is that virtical speed the norm for an Archer 2?????

  • Hi there,

Yes, I think that would be the normal climb speed for that plane. My uncle flies that plane and he taught me to not take-off with flaps, unless the rwy is very VERY short. I cannot remember anything about the climb speed though, but I guess it's between 500 - 800. Good luck, bud

  • that was nice. Don't care for those dumb comments, is too hard for them to be nice.

  • Thanks a lot, dude!

    Yeah, I see...fortunatly I can remove comments..

  • NO MUSIC PLS

  • @1085oliverda In the real world climb rate depends on lots of factors - mainly air temp, humidity, altitude, etc. Real pilots don't focus on the VSI on takeoff, they use airspeed. Look up the Vy speed (best rate of climb) for your plane and stick with that on takeoff. Once you exit the traffic pattern go with the 'enroute climb' airspeed.

  • @1085oliverda Hi you probably want the climb speed to be 79 KIAS, that will give you the best climb, around 650 FPM.

  • Hi there. The normal climb has to be in full throttle and flaps down, and your speed has to be 90kts. and you will have a nice climb.

    Nice flights.

  • HAHA yea! You own a Cirrus??

  • yea, plus, its almost impossible to get to 65 knots, and then the flare is totally fake lol, its not to bad for the bigger jets, i feel those are slightly more realistic to land than the props is FSX

  • I agree. The static weather conditions, the lost feel of the controls, the feel of trim and stuff huh!

  • its payware, and trust me, landing on FSX will not help w/ your flight lessons, its just way to different

  • Hi, I really need this to practice with for my flying lessons. Is this a payware or freeware? Thanks so much!

  • Nice landing
