Nokia N95 8GB Problem with video

This is genuine footage from phone of my dog charlie great phone but when recording video it will pause, then carry on filming then pause, (dont forget when transfering to youtube quality is pretty poor) but the quality in reality is spot on very very clean and sharp. Have been on a few forums and found this to be quite common, only had phone for 5 days. This video was on mass memory, but when put onto phone memory it works fine but you only get about 5 mins worth of recording boo.. not found a soloution to this yet, but i am waiting on a replacement, will keep updated.

Hi, there is no fix. I have the same problem, I also requested a replacement and the same problem occurred on the replacement. I did my own troubleshooting and noticed that this problem will happen after you either install an app and save it to phone memory, or save anything to phone memory/mass memory. After awhile, the video recording will start pausing after 3-5 seconds, or it varies. Switching to phone memory resolve the issue, but your limited to 5 mins. of video.

intresting you should say save anything to the phone memory, after i saved a film to my phone that is where it went tits up.. have been searching around i heard that nokia are not intrested in this problem,. so i am going to do my best to let people know that nokia are not intrested..

Is this phone of you a slide phone? Because slide phone is a bad phone. You need to buy a phone that cant slide. I have a slide phone and it restarts everytime and automatically shutdown when I am trying to listining music or radio or trying to make a movie. Now I have buyed another phone that cant slide and that phone works perfectly without any problems. It is fast and its my best phone. I have throwed my slide phone very fast on the ground and now I have only the good phone left!=) I love it!

Notice the red light on back of the phone when you are filming if its flashing then it lags if its only lighting there is no lag. I have same problem and dunno how to fix it :((

thanxxXXXXxxxx thankxxxxXXXxxxxx AAAAALLLLLLOOOOOTTTTT to all who suggested to defragment memory, I just tried and got fixed my video pausing. No need to format or software update coz, I got N95 8gb V35 and Nokia has V32 available so updating from v35 to v32 suckx, THANKZ again and again to to who uploaded this video to start initiating solutions.....

@forac123 I wouldnt do that!  Phone memory doesnt have much memory to spare at all..Only use Mass memory

@vnepo When I bought my phone off some dude I upgraded the firmware and it still lagged, so again...you're wrong! defragmenting fixed the issue and the phone ran like new. That is the cure instead of reformatting the phone and losing all your data. Take my advice, Im a pro

look take my advice is that on a warranty when you bought it? to me it works a ok...... if ever try to replace a new one return it to the store you get it maybe theres a factory defect... your a customer and a consumer...... we consumer had rigths to complain deffect products be buy. or bring the phone to the expert technician let it check if is bugged or virus that makes the phone video slows down... while recording. the last is try to format it manually finds solutions here at u tube ok!

store ur vids in fone memory not in mass memory.
