No, she was built in late 1945 and didn't see any actual combat service and was converted into a training aircraft. Later on it was used for research, surveying and mapping and later bought to the UK and appeared at air shows. There is a lot of infomation about her at sallyb(dot)org(dot)uk
Theres also the B17 Mary Alice which is in the uk somewhere, is that coorect?
