@MULTIMEDlA i really have no respect for people with your attitude. If you read my reply you would have noticed that it said "appear." but im not going to waste my valuable time on such a petty issue with a ignorant idiot. Alpha, Mike, Foxtrot. Have a good life

@dilifromdili There is no such thing as a perfect product, and if you have been following the iPhone, when it first came out - immediately it had faults. Even the iPhone 4 has many things that it can improve on ( and the obvious reasons are - BUSINESS) Please educate yourself. But seeing that you can't even spell I, as a capital letter, makes me think how well educated are you. If batter life bothers you get an external battery or wait for the next update... but it can't never be perfect. "2c"

@MULTIMEDlA First of all, there are certain reasons why the battery life on this is so bad. Second, one of the reason's apple is so successful is cus they appear to have the perfect product every time. I don't know how many reviews i've seen of iphones that the host is like, "If you thinking of getting one, you really should have no hesitation, i really don't see what they can improve on next year". It's like this, cus each year apple release a product that ticks all the boxes, but asus haven't

@dilifromdili Obviously there are ways to improve battery life... they start off with short batter life to begin with and introduce a product. They will be upgrading soon - isn't that business 101 ? Makes sense, you can't have a perfect product.

People, stop comparing an ipad to this omg!!! An ipad should be compared to those android mobile phones and tablets (samsung galaxy for e.g) this one is a computer without the keyboard! :) the only thing that you should compare this to an ipad is the battery life!!! That's it!

@PCHavoc You can use Keyboard and mouse via Bluetooth. It works. Not sure about your other questions.

I am waiting for 2 things in the slate tablet market. 1) i want microsoft to release a suitable OS for slate/tablets, one that's more appropriate for touch screens. and 2) I want the companies to improve battery quality, and i'm pretty sure there are several ways they can do that

@woshiprozzz I've found that with these new slate/tablet pc's running with intel processors. There is no throttling on the processor, as in it will always run at the max even when the max is not needed. Eg: if it is a 2GHz processor, it will always be running at 2GHz, so it will consume a lot of power.

1000€ !!! omg
3 hour battery life is a big disappointment on what is indeed a very nice machine. I should be able to work on this for at least 6 hours...

@umbra682000 Its probably because of the core i5 chip inside it. Its consuming too much power but is very responsive.
