Sha Rene' explains Michelle Obama's statement in her depiction of the day after 911 with her poem entitled "An American Dream" to the people of the WTC from her new spoken word poetry book, "Words Can Explain" in this YouTube video.
Today everyone has to stand America tall and proud
To be an American I never thought I would scream aloud

Even Sha Rene's title of her book somehow became controversial. Sha chose the title for her book years ago and her book was released in December of 2007, before all this drama! It hit the bookstore shelves a few months later. Sha Rene' says, "After 911 you would see people waving flags and so many people who didn't look alike came together and embraced each other. It made me exceptionally proud, not that I wasn't proud before. Like Michelle Obama, was what I call, "Super Proud" to see everyone coming together in this Election. It doesn't matter who wins, just to see people who look different embracing, is Amazing!" Sha Rene' worked in that place called, "Corporate America" and while doing so she funded her music and her new book. Her blessing goes out to all who lost someone on that day!

Sha Rene' recently met famed reporter, Liz Smith. Sha is hoping to get an interview. Some media folks on her book promotion trail are giving her the comment, "But it's Poetry!" Sha makes the point in her spoken word book that her book is about issues of both men and women in our society and how we feel about things. The most poetic book is, "The Bible" It covers every issue ever known to mankind as well as other holy books. Sha is reading a translated, "Torah" and the Gita." "They are all poetic." Sha hopes reporters can see her point after reading her book and grant her an interview about the book reporter. As spoken word is a new genre and needs its place on a stage so everyone can hear and then take away with them the words in printed form to read and have that feeling time and time again.

Recently Laura Bush has commented on the Michelle Obama statement and it was positive. You go Laura! Laura is actually my favorite First Lady! Laura said that what Michelle meant was that she was "more proud" just like I say here in my video for "An American Dream.!"
