at 22:00 when I was just about to give myself away to the sweet sound of the lords name, my neighbour reminded me that his sleep was KIND OF IMPORTANT to him.

my devotee name is govinda...when i was a little girl, i was upset about being given this name because in my little girl mind, it was a "boys name" and i was jealous of my friend krishnaya, for having gotten a prettier name than me. now that i'm all grown up, and am hardly ever called govinda dasi, or govi anymore - i miss it so much. and i feel lucky to have been given such a name.

you've inspired me to sing some chants, maybe i'll vlog one next week;-)
