  • @BorderlineOffensive No, it hit him for more. It just doesn't show overkill.

  • crazy thing is that last arcane missile hit him for 1048 which is exactly how much hp he had left. extreme skilluck

  • TLDR version= Use every absorb/defend CD you have, use control, burst down one enemy and go on to the other.

  • @Alevelol Where's the interview? I cant find it, can you post a link?

  • @Qyburnator

You said it yourself - everybody 'tries' to do this... you imply yourself that it is difficult to pull it off!

And you are wrong about the arcane misslies as you can clearly see only one of them crits at 2.2k the others are all half that and you expect this damage when you have these buffs - which is exactly like i said 'guaranteed damage'.

And you don't really do justice on the amount of skill it took to avoid dying on so little health by using abilities instead of luck.

  • I was just having an argument over the difference between PvE and PvP. The other person was saying PvP is also scripted like PvE fights, every player's actions are easily predictable and no different than a boss fight.

I used Orangemarmalade's win as an example of how wrong he is.

    He had no rebuttal.

But everybody tries to lure people into bad LOS if they need a miracle comback. Everybody uses buffs and steals PWS too. Fluently changing targets and landing silence and slow while staying alive is great, but its still not something a typical arena'er (~duelist maybe?) wouldnt do.

I said it was luck because of the number of crits he gets. Every single arcane missle crits, aswell as a couple more spells beforehand. If he got even one less crit the other mage would have lived.

  • @Qyburnator It's not really luck - orange made his opponents chase him to get into a good position and then it took him 15 seconds to do several things at the same time; build his own buffs, whilst protecting himself, then securing the kill with guaranteed damage that could not be healed or interrupted. This is not something a mediocre player could hope to attempt. Watch it on slow with the spell breakdown and then watch it on normal speed. Surviving the 1v1 was impressive but this was insane!

  • Hes obviously really good, but that kind of stuff is mostly just luck. Theres no reason a mediocre player couldnt do the same thing.

Far more impressive was how he survived 1v1 with the priest afterwards.

  • @tunawrangler1 priest had 300 mana, mage had 107 mana, please explain how he would've spellstole orange and explain how the priest would've topped him off?
