'Outsider' Student Animation

Animation for school. My first proper attempt at traditional cell animation, rushed in one week for an assignment hand in so I did not have time to colour or shade in the cells (just scanning the cells individually took hours).

Done deliberately in a somewhat anime style, as I wanted to portray inside this world of animation (or rather Japanese animation) the more 'Anime' one's drawing style is, the more it would be accepted as "correct".

Note, this is in no way intended to be against Anime, but rather against the act of prejudice against art styles in general.

Composited in After Effects, some transition scenes were taken from storyboard (done in photoshop) as I did not have time to re-do them.
